Saturday morning saw the second week of agent training at Amerivest Realty of Central Florida. About 8 agents wanting to sharpen their listing contract skills attended the 3 hr. session. Naples, Florida was the site of the very first Amerivest Realty office. We actually created the Amerivest Realty name in 1996 and first used it in 1997. After studying the real estate market we established a 100% commission business plan in October 1998. As of this post we have 180+ real estate professionals that we serve.

In 2002 we decided that franchising was the best way to grow our business, so we created a new company called "Amerivest Holdings, Inc." to hold all the intelluctual property rights and to provide the franchise partner services. We became legally able to offer franchises in 2004 and added our first partner early that spring.
